Heats well, but knobs don't last

I've had this heater for about a year, and it does a very good job of heating up the bathroom. However, one of the two knobs has broken. This has made it unusable unless I want to use a pair of pliars. I've called Kaz, and they will replace the whole thing once I ship it back to them. I'd rather not pay all that shipping just for a knob, but it's probably cheaper than buying a new one.
