BEST. FAN. EVER.

I have owned this model for six years and it one of the best purchases I've ever made. I am a city girl living in a rural town so I bought this fan to (a) have some form of air conditioning, but also (b) to hum me to sleep because I am not used to the silent nights outside of the city. This fan has been running on low for over 8 hours a night, every night, for the last six years. The remote control is a wonderful little innovation which makes this model worth the extra $15 over the same fan without the remote control. It is also very easy to take apart and clean (the fan blades and cage get dusty). Setting the time on my microwave gives me panic attacks but I can easily take this thing apart and put it together myself. The top speed is wonderful for the hot summer days because it creates a huge gust without making that much noise. The lowest speed is what I have on at night to create a breeze and gentle hum to lull me to sleep. I am so happy I have this thing and intend to buy it again if this first one ever breaks in my lifetime. A++
