The Xaact Xtract X-200HXO is a heated portable carpet extractor with 137" water lift and 97 cubic feet per minute (CFM) air flow, a 2000-watt solution heater, a 15-gallon solution tank, and a 15-gallon recovery tank for cleaning carpets. This carpet extractor has a 200 pounds per square inch (psi) pump that runs only when the spray operation is activated for extended pump life. The heater can be turned off for use with an unheated solution. The housing on this carpet extractor is made of rotomolded polyethylene for strength and resistance to damage, and it has two 4" front wheel casters, two 12" rear wheels, and two grip handles for maneuverability. A caddy for the cleaning wand is built in to the housing for efficient storage. The carpet cleaning wand on this unit has a titanium vacuum tube for strength, a rotomolded polyethylene wand head for strength, and two nozzle jets to facilitate the delivery and extraction of the cleaning solution. This carpet extractor has a ball float vacuum shut-off to help prevent overflow if recovery tank is full. A 15' vacuum hose and a 15' solution hose are included. Optional 25' vacuum and solution hoses for this unit, and cleaning solutions, are sold separately. This carpet extractor has a two-cord power system and requires access to two 110V power outlets on separate circuits.

Defending Xaact Products

I just read this review and wanted to write my own experience with Xaact Products. I had one service issue and received outstanding customer service from the factory. The individual answering the phones was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to get me in touch with a local distributor that took care of the one small service concern I had. My machine has performed perfectly and is one of the best made extractors on the market. From my experience these extractors are easy to use but if you ignore the basic operating procedures in the manual you can damage your extractor. I am a very happy customer and would recommend Xaact to anyone.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY!!! This unit is used by my company on a PRN basis with only minimal use and can not perform to that level. Have had this product for almost a year 70 percent of the time it has been unusable due to defect and is in the shop with the distributor for repairs. From day one the product had failing pump and vaccum problems from the moment unpackaged from the crate. Product is poorly constructed mechanicly has issues with vac and motor, manufacturer is fully aware of and is bandaiding machines. Was able to speak to a manufacturer representative once informing me of this. I assumed the manufacturer would rectify the issue once the machine finally failed a 3rd time, you will make a good relationship with voicemail to never have calls returned. The manufacturers customer service is non existient and good luck in reaching anyone to discuss problems or get resolve. The warranty is nonexistient and the down time in productivity on a phone tag chase with the distributor and manufacturer will cost you more in the long run than throwing it away and buying a new one. Vendors are not able to repair and do not have good communications with the manufacturing company as the manufacturer does not support the distributor. This again resulting in no service to the customer and the distributor only able to agree the product is garbage. The manufacturer will not return calls and the vendors state they will not respond to them. The manufacturer sends the distributor additional parts to replace not resolving issue. Last and final major issue resulted in the wiring melting in the switches completeley disabling the unit and making it a fire hazard and risk for electrical shock. Once again resulting in the same scenerio back to the distributor only able to inform me it is being shipped back to the manufacturer. We are replacing this unit with a product from another manufacturer. The manufacturer of Xaact is yet to respond or refund the purchase price of the Xaact unit. If you purchase Xaact products you are throwing you money in the trash.
