Excellent unit!

I bought this window unit over 4 years ago and Ive used it every summer since. Every year when I bring it out of storage and plug it in, it works wonderfully. It keeps our home comfortable and it does not have a huge impact on our electric bill. Highly recommend!

Great cooler, great price

AC unit is powerful and has a reassuringly even and gentle sound. One thing it is not, however, is quiet. If one uses it in a mobile home (my situation!) there is no part of the house where it is inaudible, at least with the doors open. I can deal with it as I like the sound, my insomniac spouse cannot.
This isn't a bad thing by any means. She is impossible to please. Just be aware of what you're buying - a powerful, unobtrusive-sounding but loud cooling unit. Oh, and it can blow cold air in two directions at once which is awesome.

disappointed

bought the 8,000 window ac--very noisy--has a rattle and slight grinding sound--very disappointed and will never buy this brand again
